Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best known for her work in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda as well as Voltea pa' que te enamores. Model and dancer by profession, Toubia has also achieved great success in both of these fields. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas since childhood, and always loved doing shows. Since she was a child she was trained in various dance forms. At the age of 15 old, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 in a role as a receptionist in the Telemundo episode. Toubia was a part of Tattooed Love (2015), an action-oriented film.
